Cannon Events (Queens Park)

Cannon Events is a running group in Chesterfield which organises walking, jogging and running sessions for both children and adults.

The sessions which take place in Queens Park include are based on efforts.

We have plenty of other options to choose from, for complete beginner to advanced, almost every day of the week. We also organise regular events for mixed abilities across the year, including the Holmebrook 5k and 1500m, Chesterfield Community 5k, Chesterfield Santa Fun Run and the Avenue 5k and 1500m.

Sessions are £2 for members and £3 for non-members. The first session is free. Children run for free and any adult accompanying a child is free too. Adult Membership is £25.00 per year. Junior membership is £21 per year. This includes a free hoodie plus affiliation to England Athletics and the Association of Running Clubs. Renewal every 12 months after the initial joining date.
